Returning guests
Breakfast quality has dropped a bit, bathroom privacy still an issue. In general a good place for the money. Probably stay there again in a couple months. They have discount cupons for Kools Beach Club, not as nice as Mamitas across the street, the hotel use to provide discount for Mamitas.
John Grey’s Place, good food but pricey, rock background music played at an ear shattering level, had to complain. Still like Anticas and "10", north end of 5th at c. 30.

Mexico Holiday
Took a short break in October and stayed at this hotel. Upon arrival parked hire car immediately outside hotel which is reserved for guests. Check in very efficient ..and when we saw our room we were very pleasantly surprised. We had booked a King with rollaway as had travelled with our 17rd old son. The room was enormous with King bed and generous sized futon for our son. Room also included microwave and small fridge. Hotel has two small but well maintained pools which we made use of at the end of a busy day sightseeing whilst enjoying "Happy Hour" cocktails! Ate in restaurant one evening whilst sitting outside, but just be aware of the mosquitoes. Best part of my stay at this hotel was the full body massage which my son treated me to for my birthday...excellent and very reasonable, just wish I had had one on my first day because would have had one every day! Whilst staying here would recommend taking the voucher offered for Kool so that you can enjoy a relaxing day on the beach lounging on comfortable sun beds and using the pool. Enjoyed fun day at Xel Ha which was about 40 mins away..great all inclusive day for $75 a day. First, but most definitely not last visit to Mexico...can’t wait to go back and would certainly stay at Aventura Mexicana!

A nice quiet hotel.
The service of all was excellent. The room was clean, and had everything that was promised. Great location. Well worth the money.
Remember you are in another country. Don’t be afraid to ask, to say no but be polite and you’ll get along just fine.
