Great Location
The staff was very nice and professional. Our room was much more than expected but it looked like it had had a new phone installed and the area was not cleaned up. Loose plaster all over the floor. I don’t think anyone had inspected the room after it was painted as wall paint was all over the woodwork and vis-versa. However, we would stay there again as it is a very good location for the metro and plenty of restaurants around.

Good basic hotel
Hotel was clean and comfortable with a large room. Only quite basic but good value for the price. Metro station on the red line was around a 15 minute walk and took you right in to the National Mall
Traveler's tip on dining
There are plenty of food places quite close to the hotel but they mostly shut before 11.... There is a 7/11 only a block away though

Okay for the money
The Internet connection went down for two days. This is not a bad place to stay for the money. It is a 10-minute walk from the Metro and close to a number of services. The hotel itself is a bit beat up and the rooms are not in great condition, but it is livable for a short trip if you are on a tight budget.
