Favorite Hotel
My husband and I stayed at Grand Hotel Aminta in 2005 and couldn’t wait to go back. We took our two children (12) and (14) this time and they fell in love with the hotel too! We actually stayed in the same room both times in Villa Aminta (an annex building). The view of Sorrento from the room balcony is amazing, the hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is delicious! One of our favorite things is walking the path into town. Although, if you’re not up for it, there is a complimentary shuttle. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan on staying there every time I visit Sorrento!

Hotel Aminta Rules!!!!
Amazing Hotel! Amazing View of Mt Vesuvius! I recommend this hotel to anyone who want to have a nice experience in Sorrento. The staff is extremely friendly, very good breakfast, clean room, the only inconvenience was the bathtub (a little bit small), but nothing more. The shuttle is very convenient. Will return the next time, definetely!
If you arrive to Naples, outside you’ll find the bus that take you to Sorrento. When you arrive follow the indications to find the shuttle to the hotel.

Italian Honeymoon
We visited Sorrento for four days during our honeymoon and stayed at the Aminta. We had the most beautiful views of the Bay of Naples and the olive gardens surrounding the hotel. The hotel offers a shuttle service into the center of Sorrento, but the walk is not bad at all (only about 15 minutes). The hotel will go above and beyond to help and make sure your stay is pleasant. The airlines lost our luggage and the hotel was very helpful.
