Convenient, but noisy.
This hotel is far nicer in the interior than the exterior. Our room had been remodeled. Public rooms are functional, but fairly spartan. The English breakfast that came with our room was just okay. The main drawback was the noise from the street. From our second floor room facing the side street, we could hear the people who partied into the wee hours. Location on the waterfront and within walking distance to many attractions and restaurants is a plus. Price was very reasonable, but for me, didnt make up for the noise. For sound sleepers, or rooms on a higher floor, this may not be an issue. Theres a garage with an additional charge for parking, which adds to the cost per night. No matter what time you arrive, parking is only good until 12 noon, when the next day charge is applied.
Traveler's tip
If you decide to stay here, ask for a room on an upper floor.
