Very Nice Stay...

The hotel, the empolyees and continental breakfast were all great. The only thing I caution is the parking situation is horrible. You must park behind the hotel and walk through the courtyard. Other than that, evertyhing was great about our stay.

Nice Hotel and Good Location

The hotel was well situated in a nice area. It was clean and comfortable, the rooms seemed to be newly furnished and the bathroom was spotless. They’ll ask you to park your car in a garage in the back of the hotel, but I had a bike on my car’s roof so they let me park on the street. The hotel security checked on my bike/car all night (I was very pleased with the service).

Clean, comfortable and convenient

Great lobby and breakfast area, covered parking, the room was very well equipped and the bed was absolutely luxurious. Great location, in the heart of downtown but neatly removed from most of the nightlife noises. Much better than the two other Ogden downtown hotels we usually choose. Will definitely return.

Parking sucks

The room was small but nice, The bathroom was very big, and nice. The parking was ridiculus, we got there at about 9’o clock, drove right past the very small sign, finally found it. went in and they gave me a map to the parking area. Gotta walk a half mile carrying all our luggage through a shady area in the dark, Great. And of course they want $15 for valet. Would not stay again unless they offered complementary valet.

Some shady looking people around at night, mabye use valet.

Very nice hotel.

Nice place to stay. I would recommend this hotel. You will have to walk about a block away, but the walk and view of mountains is nice. And the parking is free, so...

Enjoyed

there was my husband, myself, our two sons (18 & 14).the overall room on the 8th floor was nice and clean, size, comfort and the beds were real comfy. All that made up for the far away parking ... the hotel should of really provided a roll-away bed for my son who refused to sleep in the bed with his older brother. Yes,i did ask for one...but she said it was a fire hazard to have that added to the room...really a good customer service move on the hotels part would of been that they offer to take the chair and ottoman out of the room in order to get that roll-away bed in so that it would not be a fire hazard any longer and then my son could of been comfortable instead my son slept on the floor...the hotel really could of made that right for us and that would of been a awesome customer service move.

families...if you need a roll-away-bed because you have a son/daughter who refuses like mine to sleep in the same bed as their sibling or whatever ask that they take out the chair and ottoman and put the roll-away bed...i wish i would of thought of that, instead i thought of it after we checked out...next time i will make that request.

Mixed experiences at the Hampton Inn in Ogden

This hotel was fairly nice and comfortable. The main problems were that it was right in a very busy part of Ogden and the covered parking used for the hotel was a block away. The complimentary breakfast was good, all in all I left not feeling impressed or disappointed, just indifferent about the stay.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Would suggest that travelers going to Ogden stay at the Marriott rather than the Hampton Inn as they are the same price and the Marriott is much nicer. The only benefit to the Hampton Inn was the complimentary breakfast which was good.

Just Okay

If you stay in the hotel beware of two things. The parking is at least a block away. They do offer valet parking at an additional cost of $5.00 a day. Ask to stay in a room that is away from the main street because it is very noisy. The hotel looks like it was recently renovated but the old windows remain and do not block out much of the noise from the street. On a Saturday night there was a lot of traffice even until 2am. We only stayed there one night. We moved to another hotel a block off the main street that was nice and quiet, closer to the restaurants, and that had a better breakfast that was included in the daily rate.

Difficult Parking situation

The worst thing about the hotel was the sheets on the bed. They were too small and so came off during the night. I hate when that happens.
