excellent hotel, convenient location
This modern hotel is conveniently located near the Auditorio by Calatrava, El Corte Ingles, and the central bus station, with convenient service to all other parts of the island. I took bus #106 to Icod de los vions to see the dragon trees. It was well worth the trip.

Terrific in Tenerife
We made a last minute reservation when the propane tank ran out at my step-daughter’s apartment nearby, and we lost hot water. All we knew about the Hotel Atlantida was that it nearby, reasonably priced, and would have hot water. We were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is modern but not spartan. Our room was well appointed and very clean, although not huge by US atandards. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom both modern and well sized -- the shower was great. There was TV (limited channels in English) in the room and free internet in the lobby. Dinner at the restaurant on a Sunday night, with most other places closed. was a B+. The location is convenient to the major stores -- El Corte Ingles, Carrefours, etc.

They need to review their concept of service
The window in the room was broken and did not seal letting dust and more important NOISE into the room from cars on the street. Went to ask for a plate and silverware to eat some fruits in my room and they refused to lend them claiming "Security reasons." Finally after a big fight and talking to managemnt they complied. First hotel I find that tries not to make their guests at home.
