I will return
This is a nice alternative to the larger chain hotels. The place is brightly colored and very comfortable. The kitchenette was a plus. The location is probably the best aspect of the hotel. Right near a street car stop and Nob is with lots of shops and restaurants is within walking distance. The price is a little high but search around and you might find a deal.

Great Value
Other than the decor being a bit funky, this hotel is great-very comfortable, clean, and in a great location. The rail car picks up literally infront of the hotel. Free parking is a major bonus too. Plenty of bars and restaurants in short walking distance. rooms are spacious and offer many very nice ammentities. I would reccommend to a friend. I felt for the money it was a great value.

Perfect place to stay in Portland
I traveled alone and I loved staying here! The room was like a studio apartment, with a kitchen, big screen TV couch and outdoor balcony. I stayed 5 nights. There are lots of shops and good restaurants nearby, and I felt comfortable being a single woman in the area. The staff was exceptional. The trolley stops right in front and takes you downtown, and it comes every 15 minutes. I took the Max line from the airport to downtown, and then transferred to the trolley, cost me $2.30! wonderful and easy. Great place.
The max and trolley lines are a great way to get around the city, no need for a car within the City.
