great city
very nice hotel; helpful staff; nice size room! great location; within walking distance of La Rambla area; hop on- hop off buses stop right in front of the hotel, great way to see Barcelona! when I go back, I will stay here again!

Perfect hotel for cruise passengers
This hotel is perfect for anyone going on or returning from a cruise. We walked off our ship and directly into the hotel, AND they allowed us to check in at 8:00 AM!! The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and the service is refined and elegant. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with hardwood floors and marble bathrooms. The only glitch we encountered was a bellman who offered to arrange the "hotel car" to take us to the airport, and when the time came that had not been done. The hotel immediately arranged a taxi for us, so it was not a problem. The hotel has a fabulous breakfast buffet -- an enormous selection of very high-quality foods. It is a tad expensive -- this is not a budget hotel, ut it is well worth the price. LOVED IT!

LUXURIOUS & MODERN
This hotel was very luxurious. The staff was extremely accomodating. We arrived 6 before check-in and they put us in a room immediately. The hotel is gorgeous. There are many modern features. The bathrooms are amazing. Everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. If we go back to Barcelona we will definitely book this hotel again. The only problem is the hotel is a little pricey so we don’t recommend eating there.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
This is the perfect hotel if you are taking a cruise out of Barcelona. It is very close to the pier. And it is also close to all of the tourist sites. It’s about a 5 min. walk to Las Ramblas. Its nice that it is not right on Las Ramblas. Las Ramblas seems to get a little scary at night.
