Loved It

It was the best ever. The hotel room was outstanding. We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite when we got there. The concierge level was a treat. The disney staff was superb. They took care of everything. It was a magical experience. My boyfriend hadn’t been to Disney since he was young and he said this trip was the best ever.

Disappointing service

They did not give us the requested king bed and never got back to us regarding changing rooms despite their promise. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay. Probably will not return.

Very nice hotel & location

This was our first stay at the Beach Club resort and it was very impressive. We liked the atmosphere, room, pools, and the food. The ferry boat goes to the Boardwalk, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios so no need to take the Disney buses. The only complaint was the size of the bathroom - very small.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Make sure to walk to Epcot - faster than taking the ferry boat.

Will be back same time next year

This is the third year in row that we have stayed at the Beach Club. Our family travels each year around this time on business, but we always work in a little leisure while we are here. The Beach Club is the perfect hotel for us because of location close to Epcot since we enjoy the food and wine fest. at Epcot this time of year. Resort is great.

Best Pool at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Disney’s Beach Club Resort is the place to be! The resort had everything our family needed to relax right in the heart of Walt Disney World. The Friendship taxis from the dock just outside our hotel were easy transportation to and from Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool with it’s sandy bottom and sand bars for building sand castles. Even the kids meals at the outdoor eatery next to the pool came in sand pails that the kids used on the "beach". The waterslide is cleverly hidden among the mast of a shipwreck and meandered through the trees to the pool. When we weren’t having a great time in the theme parks, we were having a great time at the Beach Club Resort. Each evening had campfire singalongs and smores on the beach with a movie under the stars. We can’t wait to stay there again!

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Plan time into your trip to just be lazy and hang out around the pool. Disney’s Beach Club Resort has plenty to do, so be sure to give yourself free time to enjoy it!

One of Disney’s Best Hotels!

Great Hotel! Walking distance to EPCOT and a Boat to Disney’s Hollywood studios, with bus transportaion else where. Very clean and the staff is amazing! While staying here try the clam bake for dinner at the Cape May Cafe, but definately try to get into dinner at Le Celliar (the steak house in EPCOT’s Canada.) Try HOOP-DEE-DOO Revue too! Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent location for Epcot

We really enjoyed this hotel for it’s proximity to Epcot. It was an easy 5 minute walk into the back of Epcot where we ate dinner almost every night. It was also easy walking to the boardwalk but we never made it over there since we enjoyed Epcot so much. We had a standard room, 2 queens - the room and beds were great but the bathroom was tiny and clumsy getting in/out of... the door barely cleared the toilet. Besides that annoyance the entire place was excellement. The pool area was alot of fun for the kids. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Beach Club and Restaurant

Hotel itself was great. Room was clean and up-to-date. Would recommend. Housekeeping, however, was lacking. Daily phonecalls required to replace towels. Do NOT bother wasting your money eating at Cape May. The buffet is not worth the money you will spend. Limited selections and quite honestly, you can get better waffles at McDonalds.

Traveler's tip on dining

Do NOT bother wasting your money eating at Cape May. The buffet is not worth the money you will spend. Limited selections and quite honestly, you can get better waffles at McDonalds. If large party, restaurant tacks on 18% gratuity. Servers we encountered were arrogant and rude. Go elsewhere such as 1900 Park at the Floridian or Bomma’s at Animal Kingdom Lodge which both had terrific selections and great service

We’ll be back!

Very comfortable beds! Awesome pool! We didn’t bother getting water park passes because the pool and slide were great! Good food available at the hotel, but we didn’t buy the "food package/option" because I had so many pts on my Disney Rewards card. But, do get the refillable soda/drink cup at the hotel ... well worth the cost! Carry out pizza from the boardwalk restaurant was very good (and reasonable) also. We had made 2 on-line meal reservations before arrival. Ended up canx’ing one totally and the other was for b/f at our hotel, didn’t seem like it was necessary. We walked up to several restaurants put our name in and w/in 20 minutes were being seated. So, don’t get upset if you can’t get on-line reservations ... show up anyway. It’s vaca - relax and enjoy! Hotel was walking distance to Epcot. The fireworks at Epcot are impressive! Only negative was our bathroom. The water closet was tiny ... the door just barely cleared the commode, no exhaust fan and the tank actually leaked (clean water). We had to call twice before it was fixed but it wasn’t a huge deal. Nothing a towel or two couldn’t soak up.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Bring a noodle to use in the hotel’s lazy river. If not, you can rent a raft for an hourly or daily rate. But, a noodle is best - lay in the water and relax!

Beach Club in Disney FL

This was our first time staying at the beach club in Disney and I would stay there again. We had a few issues along the way and the concierge desk was extremely helpful. At the end of our trip we accidentally left my jewelry in the room and called frantically. Unfortunately it was a Sunday so their lost and found office was closed. By Monday afternoon they called us to let us know they found the jewelry. They sent it back to us via UPS. All items were returned safe and sound.

Traveler's tip on dining

Do not do the meal plan unless you are extremely organized. When we were there it rained almost every day and the storms were so severe that it disrupted our plans. When the weather cleared we traveled back out and found it impossible to get a reservation at any good restaurants. Also due to the weather, we had a lot more quick meals rather that table services and when we completed our trip we had meals remaining on our plan because all reservations / plans were disrupted.

Beach Club

We just love the Beach Club, especially the location near Epcot, just off the boardwalk. I have stayed at several Disney Hotels but Beach Club is definitely my favorite. I like being able to walk to Epcot or Hollywood Studios, to run on the boardwalk or rent a bike, grab a pastry or sit by the wonderful pull and relax. We have so much fun here and can’t wait to come back.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

definitely get a park hopper. It’s fun to walk over to Epcot each night and see the fireworks. We also like to walk through Epcot in the morning and catch the monorail to the Magic Kingdom (with the stop at the transportation center.)

Wished I had Stay Somewhere Else.

First of all, I am not a fussy person and can tolerate a lot. When I booked this hotel, I was told that each room had a balcony. Great! Love to sit on a balcony. The first room we had, had a little tiny balcony only one person at a time could stand on- not sit. The door to the balcony was weighted so that it couldn’t stay open. After a long winter in New Hampshire I really looked forward to sitting out on a balcony. So, my husband and I walked down the endless dark hallways to get to an elevator to politely ask if there was another room available with a larger balcony. They sent us back up and way down the other end of a hallway to a room with a balcony that overlooked a hugh flat gravel roof -that’s all you had for a view! I would have much rather looked at snow back home! Sent down to another end of a dark hallway to a dark room that had a balcony that was covered in two inches of water. Got tired of walking so took the room. I will never go back to this hotel. It’s depressing!

For the price of the room would expect everything to work

Bath tub was clogged. Asked for it to be repaired as when taking shower water would not go down. All they did was come in and break the plug so it would not screw tight. Water now goes down but cant take a bath. For the price you would think you could get better maintain than that.

Nice resort with great location

The Beach Club resort is one of several Disney resorts on a lake and very close to Epcot Center. The hotel was in very nice condition with nice decor and very good service. Room was great, with comfy beds, and although not large, adequate for four. The restaurant was better than expected and good for families as a buffet. The hotel is adjacent to the Yacht Club and walking distance to the Boardwalk with other eating options. The market in the hotel was convenient for a quick breakfast and less expensive than full blown sitdown. There are plenty of things to do when you decide to hang at the hotel: pool with slide, game room, ice cream, lakeside beach. The hotel is very convenient to Epcot, being a short walk to the side gate. There are also boats going back/forth as well as to Disney Hollywood Studios. The pool area and little beach area on the lake were nice for relaxing and sunning with nice touches like movies at night for the young ones. You’ll pay a little more for this Disney Resort, but you’ll get a good value and be able to see and do a lot even though the parks may be crowded.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Get the Park Hopper pass to take advantage of extra magic hours (early/late park admission) and you can go between the different resorts during the day/night. If you decide to golf, talk with the concierge or just call the activities center directly. The hotel valet will get you a taxi to the golf course with a voucher. We used the Disney Magical Express transportation from airport to hotel and it was very efficient. Never needed a car.

Great location and pool

The only complaint we had was the room size. We stayed in a standard room. It was very crowded as we have 3 children with 1 needing a crib. I would definately stay at the Beach club again, but would stay in one of the Villas. The pool was better than expected, the food was great. We ate at the Cape May Cafe, Hurricane Hannah’s, the Beaches & Cream and also used room service. When we checked in, we requested the crib and a microwave. Both were brought to our room promptly.

Good location

My wife and I have stayed on the Disney property each time we go there, (about 7 times now). The Beach Club offers quick access to Epcot by the back entrance, and thus, an easy walk to see the fireworks. This also provides quick egress once the show is done. The staff is friendly and helpful at the Beach club and the rooms are well kept. We did have a bit of a rough start when we checked in. We were given the key to a room that wasn’t made up and we had to return to the desk to get another one. The staff was apologetic, and upgraded us to a room with a water view. We were pleased with this but discovered that the toilet had a black ring around it just above the water line. We could have made a fuss about it, but didn’t; by that time we just wanted to settle in. Overall the room and king size bed were comfortable, although the chairs are nothing special. The tv is a flat screen saving some space with a heavy dose of Disney programming and few selections that you might call interesting. The Beach and Yacht Clubs are beginning to show their age and improvements are underway on one of the pools.

First Disney 4 Star Hotel stay

For the price, I felt as if there should have been more, i.e. free wireless internet, larger refrigerator, shower caps, more cable channels and/or pay per view movies, etc.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Pick your room carefully, if possible, to maximize view and shorten loooong walk to main lobby.

awesome disney vacation

Located in a great place everything you need within walking distance. Staff was great, character breakfast buffet was excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone. The location to Hollywood studio park and epcot made it great for the older kids and teens

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Definitely look for magic hours and fast passes and plan your day accordingly. So much fun to be had!!

Beach Club

Great trip. But, the people working the magical express check out when we were leaving were not good. Very slow. One guy put the wrong sticker on 1 of our 5 bags and it went to New York, not WI. Totally his fault. He was not paying attention to what he was doing...just trying to be silly. Nice guy however.

Most enjoyable hotel stay we’ve ever had!!!

We love this resort! It is beautiful but at the same time very family/kid friendly. The pool area is amazing. There were lots of kids’ activities ranging from organized pool games, ping-pong, waterslides, bonfires on the beach each night and movies on the beach. We loved the convenient dining options - you could easily walk to Epcot and the Boardwalk. We will definately return and recommend it to all of our friends and family.

Great Family Hotel

We loved the beach club. It had a great pool and lovely grounds and lots to do for the kids. The best part was its proximity to Epcot (5 min. walk) and Hollywood Studios (15 min. walk). We loved it!
