Great Hotel in Riga
I had a very good short stay at this hotel. It is very well located - a few minutes walk from the 22 bus from the airport - in the gorgeous old town with plenty of restaurants, beautiful sights, and shops nearby. The staff are friendly and knowlegeable.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Get the map from the tourist office with two walks around Riga. I did walk 1. I really enjoyed it and saw both the old town and the Art Nouveau district. Also take the train to the Jurmala Baltic sea resort. It is easy, costs very little, takes 30 minutes each way, and fun.

Good location
Hotel is very well located in the city center, rooms (we had junior suite) are spacious, well equiped and althougt there is no real restaurant or bar inside, just breakfast room for breakfast and lunch buffet, just oposite is a good steak house open until night and around lot of bars. We had a little problem because in a day of our departure hotel did not accept credit cards and transferred problem to guests - pick up money in ATM or bank. They provide hotel-airport transfer at 19 euro per trip even for more people in van.

Go to Latvian skansen by bus leaving from the street oposite the museum of occupation. Information in hotels available.
