Plaza Lucchese in Florence
This is an excellent hotel with good services, knowledgeable concierge service, excellent breakfast, comfort, and a very convenient location. We highly recommend it.

Good experience - Recommended.
Nice location with great views of the Arno river and Tuscan Hills. Easy walk to the Ufizzi, Duomo, Academia, Ponte Vecchio, etc. Lobby is large and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good - included champagne. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was adequate but small (standard euro size) and had a safe. The only negative was the bathroom. It was impossible to take a shower without flooding the bathroom floor. While in Italy, we stayed in 3 different hotels and none had a shower curtain or enclosure The Italian shower routine must be quite different from the American. Would definitely return.

Great location,wonderful and friendly staff
The staff was very friendly and helpful especially Michele(consierge). Location is on the river so the views are great and you can walk to everything of interest.
