This hotel is really close to Sky Harbor. Stayed for a night on front end of trip and it was GREAT!!! Service, Room, and Cleanliness.

Econo Lodge Phoenix

This was just an overnight stay for us. The hotel met our needs nothing fancy. The free shuttle to and from the airport was convenient. I would stay there again for a night, not longer.

On a very hot and dry day, it was a great relief to arrive at the Econo Lodge

On a very hot and dry day, it was a great relief to arrive at the Econo Lodge. The shuttle picked us up quickly and delivered us to the Econo Lodge, where we were greeted by very friendly staff. Th room was cool and comfortable and the staff offered helpful and friendly advice.

Call for shuttle as soon as you get to the baggage claim, it is not an eccon lodge shuttle, it is a service so it takes a few minutes.

This was a great spot for an overnight stay before a flight. Clean rooms with courtesy shuttle. A pleasant overnight stay.

Beds were hard. Helicopters were swarming over head all night long.

I will never stay at another econo-lodge.

The front desk attendants were very very nice, but the location seemed like a low income area with questionable characters wandering the street near by. I went to visit friends and was embarassed to tell them where I was staying. I returned to the room rather late, and found that the linen was soiled. It was so late so I just took a nap on top of the comforter, but I felt dirty. I was wondering if it is frequented by hourly guess?

Compared to the hotel we stayed later (Rammada) the Econo Lodge option is certainly even more attractive. The rooms are brand new and clean.

Don’t stay there

A Pleasant Surprise!

I chose this hotel because it is close enough to the the Sky Harbor Airport and offers a free shuttle, plus the price was affordable. Because it was affordable I expected something less than what I got. The staff was friendly, the room very clean, and surprisingly quiet. The only downside is that there are not a lot of restaurants within walking distance. I would stay there again, anytime.

For an inexpensive motel close to the airport this is a good option. No frills, dining is limited, but if economy is important this place is worth considering. Standard room that was clean.

Nice room but seedy location

The hotel is hard to find, even with MapQuest, and the hotel staff was not very helpful about guiding us. The hotel is next to used car lots, vacant lots, strip clubs, and bars. We hesitated to stay there for safety reasons, but the manager told us that there was no refunds and that other Econo Lodges are independent, so we couldn’t trade to another location. The room, however, was very clean and the bed comfortable. The only problem was that you could see a lot of light through a large gap at the bottom of the door to the outside.

Shuttle left us behind

We requested shuttle service at 6 a.m. - we made it down at 6:03 a.m. and the shuttle had left us behind. We had not been told that the shuttle only comes every hour, so in order to make our plane we had to pay for a taxi to the airport. If we had known that the 3 minutes would make that happen, we would have been more cautious about time, but nooned told us about the shuttle’s intermittent and set schedule. We thought it was an on-demand shuttle. Also, we had a very long walk to the room outside, dragging baggage upstairs without an elevator.

Way off the beat in path

If you dont have a car I would not recomend you stay here. It is down town and does not appear to be the nighborhood you want to be walking around after dark. This hotel is not close to any dining establishments.

Just fine for what we needed

The hotel staff were fabulous - very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, not fancy, but fine for the overnight our family needed. The breakfast was okay, no milk or anything with any protein, but we were grateful for food before our flight. That part of Phoenix feels pretty scary (compared to the small town we live in), but if you are not wandering around at night, it is fine. We also appreciated the free trip to the airport in the morning.

Fine for an overnight stay

The bathroom was very clean but could have been remodled. There were dust "bunnies" behind the headboard of the bed but for one night before we caught our very early fight, it was fine. Bedding and towels were clean and the staff was friendly.
