Would stay here again
Overall, our stay was a good one. There were some issues that had to be brought up to the employees. One of the two elevators didn’t work and it felt like you were going to get stuck on it. The pillows were terrible but I realize that’s a preference issue since I don’t care for feather pillows. The remote control for the tv wasn’t the greatest, seemed like it needed new batteries. Front desk provided a new remote and it really wasn’t any better. BUT, we were comfortable in our room and it felt really clean. The free breakfast was awesome and the employees were super friendly! I will definitely stay here again since our problems were minimal. I’ll just bring my own pillow next time.

Nicest Hampton Inn I’ve stayed in
I arrived about 8 PM in the middle of a snow storm which I’m told is rare for Dallas. I found the Front Desk clerk friendly and helpful. When I reached my room it was well appointed, clean and had a bottle of water and a bag of chocalate chip cookies on the night stand. A very welcoming touch.

Good choice
The hotel was as expected for the price. We were in Richardson visiting family for Thanksgving. The only incident was Thanksgiving morning - the fire alarm went off. We called the front desk and were told there was no emergency. In a few minutes, a hotel employee was banging on the doors on our floor telling us to evacate. We called the front desk again and were told that the manager was advising everyone to evacate. The fire trucks were visible from our window. Everyone gathered in the lobby and waited for the fire dept. to check the hotel. Management seemed unorganized, unable to find the keys for the firemen to open the mechanical room to check that equipment. There was not a fire and we were cleared to go back to our rooms within about 30 minutes. Apparently, someone had pulled the fire alarm. My only concern was the lack of organization and how flustered the staff seemed to be and what effect that might have in the case of a real emergency.
