Adrema no way

The hotel service staff is not helpful. The moment we checked in no one helped us with our bags. They didn’t give us a verbal summary of the hotel, where things were. They failed to mention we can’t iron in our room because it is a fire hazard. What!? They have an ironing room where you iron your clothes. It is a tiny,small, hot storage space behind the reception area. Crazy-I never heard of not ironing in your room. So we had to walk through the hotel with clothes in our hand-no joke! There was no coffee maker in the room either. We had to switch rooms uopn arrival because the bathroom had semi glass walls. Yes glass! Not completely smoked either. You can be sitting on the toilet and see out into the room. I was with a friend not a marriage mate. We demanded they give us another room but only after asking for the manager they finally gave us a room where the bathroom was more private. The guy behind the desk said all the rooms are like that. Is he crazy! How can all the rooms not have a private bathroom. This is the strangest hotel I have ever stayed in. The only good thing is the buffet breatfast-which we paid for when we booked the room. The AC was not cold at all and the hallways were not well lite. I would not recommend staying there. The service stinks big time!

Fair value for money

We got the superior room for some extra euros. The room was very well located in front of the river with incredible view. The beds, the design was a very nice surprise. What we didn’t like at all was the design and location of the bathroom. It wasn’t separated well from the room and had glass doors. We recommend to have breakfast since it is very good and a lot of options. Finally we expected a bit more for our money but still it was a good hotel.

extremely mediocre

The rooms are tired, there is a window from the bedroom into the bathroom, so there is no privacy (I have stayed in 3 of their rooms, so assume this is a standard feature), cleanliness is perfunctory, service minimal (no bellboys, limited room service, surcharge for internet--and then it often doesn’t work) and it is extremely noisy. If the reason for your visit happens to be across the street it is fine; otherwise steer clear.

Very pleasant stay

Hotel staff was very friendly. Our room was cleaned every day. The hotel is in an okay area pretty close to the zoologische garten. Overall we are very satisfied and would definitely recommend it.

Traveler's tip on dining

If you go down the gotskowsky strasse and turn right at turm strasse there is a really delicious Turkish place called Baba Sultan Kofteci. It’s cheap and the food is great!

Perfect Hotel in Berlin...

Had a great stay at the Adrema! Rooms a bit small but everything else is great. They have a fantastic breakfast! Two bus lines connect to main U bahn and S bahn stations. Staff was fantastic with everything we needed. Everything is modern and many rooms overlook the Spree river. We would definately go back!

Warm hotel in cold Berlin

Great deal for a nice hotel, and really liked the Stolen (german pastry) at the front desk.

Adrema Hotel

Good, clean room. The staff is friendly and truly wants to help. However I asked them two questions about getting around and they were both wrong (what time does the U bahn ever stop & something else). In-house food is expensive. And it you are taking the U bahn, it’s about a 4-5 block walk to or from the nearest station - 15 minutes with luggage. The staff said their workout facilities were extremely small, so I didn’t even venture downstairs. Walking the city was enough exercise. I would stay there again. No complaints.

easy to reach from main train station. cost 7 euro by cab for 4 people. rooms were great looking. bathrooms were all glass which was interesting. great place to stay.

A good choice

Adrema was very nice for the price. Rooms were quiet and very clean. Staff at desk were efficient. Didn’t try the hotel restaurant. The hotel is not conveniently located to public transit, but taxis are easy to get. The walk thr. Tiergarten to Potzdamer Platz is more than 30 min.

Need Public Transport

To get to see the sights of Berlin, you must use the convenient bus and train city system. Otherwise, you’ll be walking for hours.
