Best place for OSU football games!
Hotel is upscale and includes little extras to make guests feel special; Buckeye candy for turn down service, an OSU night light, and a reasonably priced gift shop. Only 800 STEPS to the Stadium and less than that to St. John’s for the Skull Sessions. Will definitely stay there again.

Top Notch and Classy! Go Bucks!
This is our favorite hotel to stay at when we have business or leisure connected to Ohio State University. It is situated on the campus and very convenient to the athletic facilities and the Schottenstein Arena. The Blackwell is beautifully decorated, understated, modern but still reminds you that you are in Buckeye Country. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are spacious and tasteful. Refrigerators in each room are a plus, plus quiet airconditioning with thermostats. The buffet breakfast is wonderful and the dining area lovely with it’s tall windows. The food to order is also excellent. The Chef does an amazing job of presentation. This is not your typical hotel restaurant. I would come back here to eat even if I wasn’t staying at the Blackwell. The staff is youthful and eager to please and valet service for the car is super fast. When I stay at the Blackwell I feel like I am in a big city hotel without all the inconveniences. This past visit there was a formal wedding reception so this is a lovely hotel to host an adult function. Last of all the staff at The Blackwell is superb and friendly but professional.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
We stayed here when we were attending a concert at the Schottenstein Arena and we were able to walk to the concert (10 minutes) instead of fighting the parking.

Very clean. Curteous and professional staff.
Phenomenal stay. Clean room and great service. Only drawback is the parking. Must pay extra for parking, but it is only 7 dollars overnight and 3 dollars on the weekends (however it resets if you leave, so I ended up spending 10+ in one day). Also a big plus is being able to go to the OSU gym (its huge) for only five bucks. Highly recommended!
