The superior room is not superior at all.
I stayed in the the superior room but it is not superior at all. The mattress is too old and the linens do not fit the bed (they’re smaller), which is bad for a couple occupancy. The towels were both too old and thin. Also, I got really dirt towels for two consecutive changes, although the room and bathroom were clean. It was cold and there was not an appropriate blanket, neither the room had heating.

It was good enough
The hotel was good, so near of many atractions and well located at the Copacabana beach. Rooms are good enough and breakfast was great.

Good hotel
Good hotel in a good location (Leme). Te only problem was the impossibility to check in before 4:30. But the stay was pleasant and I have booked the same hotel fr a next trip to Rio in May

Poor service
I was in front of the hotel talking to my friend and was asked to move. The air conditioner in the room works from a dial in the room... not digitally. So you will find yourself often having to wake up to adjust the air... basically on and off. I couldn’t bring my friend up while I changed clothes so he just stood outside in the hot Brazil heat. I was told I could only bring guests to my room from 11pm until 5am and then I would have to pay a substantial amount for the guest to go to my room. Seriously! I had to call 3 times to ask them to bring me a cable to connect my laptop to the cable connection because the wireless was so slow. Even after finally getting the cable connection the internet speed was so slow that talking on my computer phone was almost impossible because of the speech quality due to the slow connection.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
If you are willing to pay the type of money they are asking, then do more research and stay at a place that is worth it.

excellent value in Leme
This hotel is ideally located near the beach, many restaurants, money exchanges, banks, and a short walk to the Metro. The staff was professional, the room was clean and the AC worked great. My room had a security box (safe) large enough for my laptop, free of charge. I wasn’t able to take advantage of the included breakfast (slept too late). Highly recommended.

Very nice rooms...
The hotel looks not very new from outside, but inside the hotel it is very beautiful. The rooms are very big and very confortable...
