Comfortable
My room was so comfortable! The bathroom could be a little bigger, but it is Japan! The staff was amazing and brought us anything we wanted. I would suggest this hotel to anyone who enjoys being pampered.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
I recommend getting breakfast outside of the hotel. I DID NOT enjoy the traditional japanese bfast, and there is an amazing little diner about 3 blocks away that serves awesome pancakes and coffee for about 400 yen.

Great venue and the staff so polite
Big hall for event that contain almost 1000 people Incredibily clean. wow great hotel Shuttle transportation from 6am to 6pm. 30 minutes from train station not down town but may be at 20 minutes taxi

very nice
great location in eastern kyoto; very clean and comfortable hotel and friendly staff. only small complaint is that some features like the pool and and exercise room cost extra to use. the hotel is great, right next to a metro station, and a close walk to many of the great sites and temples in eastern kyoto. we very much enjoyed our stay here!
