Nice hotel but need a rental car!
Hotel was nice but not necessarily 4 star nice. The room had a nice view towards the ocean but had chipping paint on the roof as well as could not figure out how to turn off the lamps (had to unplug them!). Public transportation is extremely convenient (a few yards from the entrance of the hotel)but hotel is definitely out of the way of any beaches close by (albeit the crystal clear water was accessible via rocky cliffs).
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
If you stay here, rent a car. This will allow you to more freely explore the island as it is larger than expected. Don’t miss Manacor (for you pearl lovers!)

Decent Hotel breakfast buffet is nice
Free breakfast is nice. This hotel has a nice view if you get the balcony view. It’s definitely not a 4 star hotel. It’s more like a 3 but reception is very nice and friendly. But if you need directions, I don’t recommend asking the ladies at the reception. They got us lost twice the whole week we were there. Other than that it’s about a 15 min drive to the central and tourist areas so not too bad at all.

Barcelo Albatros
This is a great spot! There is a bus stop directly across the street, so it was really easy to get around. The pool area and oceanside swimming are fantastic. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. We had a fabulous room with a balcony that overlooked the ocean. I only wish we could have stayed longer!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Ride the bus to city center from the airport, then make a transfer. The bus will take you directly across the street from the hotel. Much less expensive than a cab!
