not overly impressed
I had expected daily room clean up but had to call on first day for new towels, second day, I left bucket with dirty towels outside room and got new ones but again no room clean up. I guess this is not part of the service.

great breakfast by Englsh couple who own a coffee shop on main street about two short blocks away.

Can’t beat the location
That’s the best thing about this place, you’re either on the beach or within 2 blocks of it and Siesta Village. I went there in the beginning of May this year, and the weather was great and not very humid. It didn’t bother me that the units were spread out, neither did it bother me that their continental breakfast (i.e., packaged pastries) was not available 3 out of the 5 mornings we were there---I’m pretty easy going. Coffee was always available, that’s important! : ) One thing to mention: They told us to put our towels out by 10am certain mornings, which we did, and one of the mornings they didn’t pick them up or give us new ones. The package deal I received made it worthwhile and because I’m flexible and I like the location, I’d stay there again. But, if you are more picky, you may want to stay somewhere else.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
While in Siesta Key: 1) Go to the Daquiri Deck for their great happy hour and 25 different daquiris, then hit Gilligan’s across the road later if the reggae band is playing. 2) go to the Drum Circle on Siesta Beach on Sun (sunset or just after). The beach/water were great! The softest, whitest I’ve ever experienced with jade colored, clear water.

Great if you aren’t planning on living in your room
Our room was quaint, cute and small. It was perfect for just my Husband and me. Would definantly go back. Upon arrival the resort staff did not welcome us, didn’t even look up from desk...it seriously took them 5 minutes to say anything and acknowledge us. But the rest of the staff riding around on gold carts to clean up around were very nice and very welcoming.
