Great Location, Attentive Staff
The room was wonderful---clean,very comfortable, beautiful linens, nice location with a view into the trees and surprisingly into the stars at night. Wow. The location was excellent and made walking to fine dining such a joy. The staff from the maids to the front desk were personable and professional. I highly recommend this hotel. I found nothing to dislike and quite a lot that made it a wonderful experience.
Traveler's tip on dining
Syrah, a few blocks away, was excellent the service is great. There is also an offbeat coffee house with bakery within a block of the hotel that is also a pleasant walk in the morning.

room with a view -- of A/C ducts
Room was OK inside, but whole experience was overshadowed by the most ridiculously awful view of heating/ventilating A/C equipment and ductwork filling the space right outside the window. This room should have been used for storage, not rental as high-priced resort room, given the magnitude of the architectural errors.

Beautiful hotel.
Great location. Really nice rooms. Beautiful hotel. Would definitely return. Charges for local calls and internet service seem inappropriate given today’s travelers, and are excessive. Room service charges also seem high.
