Very comfortable and an excellent breakfast for the hungry traveler.

Internet connection

I had a problem with my internet connection. I called the reception to ask for help and they were extremely un friendly and rude. I asked for a maange and he was not much better. Betttter do not need anything if you are going to stay here.

Small, Clean, Friendly people, nice free breakfast, very good dinner. Included HS Internet a real bonus, comfortable - but bring your own pillows (need to be softer). Lots of parking - safe place.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Get up early and eat breakfast here, also the price for dinner is very reasonable, and the food is tasty. This is not far from downtown SLC, so a easy drive to temple square and other places.

Not Impressed!

I was given a room that the lights between the beds didn’t work, the phone wouldn’t even ring the front desk nor did the alarm clock work...Because of the phone problem, I had to walk back to the front desk. I was told that someone would report to my room within the next 5-10 minutes. The clerk did offer to move me to another room however, I didn’t think it would be necessary. 45 minutes later, I again walked to the front desk and requested service. The clerk informed me that "maintenance" told her that a key was needed to open the breaker box. I told her that the breaker box was beside my door and that I had already opened it. She asked the shuttle driver, who was standing beside the clerk the whole time, if he would see what he could do. He was able to get the alarm clock to work by resetting the bathroom plug. He left, because we thought it would ALL work. I AGAIN had to walk to the front desk, this time I requested another room and my money back. I was moved to the Executive Floor but told that they were unable to refund any of my money because I booked the room through Expedia...By the end of the night it could have been the Presidential Suite for all I cared....I was exhausted!!!

Great staff, shuttle service, breakfast, bar, pool party Friday night - best motel experience I’ve had in years.

People racing at Miller Motorsports Park will find this motel perfect - 20min from racetrack, 10min from downtown SLC, 5min to the airport.

Traveler's tip on dining

The included breakfast was not that great and there was no one to cleanup after people so the tables were full of dirty dishes that the guests had to remove.

Clean Comfortable Room

The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were very helpful in helping me find locations in the Salt Lake area. The free breakfast was a little greasy and overcooked, but they did have signs posted justifying the reason the food is thoroughly cooked. The lounge area was very nice, quiet and had a computer to use. This hotel is fairly close to the airport, but not so close the planes kept you awake. I would stay there again if I have to go back to Utah.

Won’t be back.

This was a true case of you get what you paid for. Great price but the place could use some work. 1. The TV was not hooked up. I had to do it myself. 2. All the vending machines were out of order on every floor and there is no gift shop. 3. The tile in the bathroom around the tub was moldy. 4. There was very little room between the desk chair & bed. I kept having to roll out to the side away from the bed to get out of the chair. 5. The elevator was extremely slow & creepy. On a good note... The personnel were all great and very helpful. I really appreciated the free high speed internet hookup.

Great place to stay

This was a great hotel to stay at. The warm continential breakfast that was actually a buffet from the resturant was great each morning. The location is very close to interstate access to the airport, downtown Salt Lake, and other travel destinations in the area.

It was ok for a business trip

When we first checked in we were sent to a room that was already occupied. The sheets were flat, not fitted. That was a big problem in the middle of the night.

Average - at best

The hotel was chosen for it’s price and convenience to the airport. Since the cumulative review on Expedia was only 3 stars I can not be disappointed. The quality and choice of food on the "full breakfast" was poor. The coffee was extremely weak. The hotel room was comfortable; however the towels were extremely thin and ragged. The room noise was exceesive due to the nearness of the freeway.

Comfort Inn Salt Lake City Airport

Generally the hotel was in good shape. The room I had was a little ragged. Carpet was worn, faucets leaked, etc.; it was very surprising for a Comfort Inn.

Certainly will not go back.

First thing to know about this hotel if you are thinking of booking a room there is that they do NOT have fitted sheets. We were pretty shocked to learn that they simply have one small sheet to cover the entire mattress and of course, during the night it shifts and you are sleeping directly on a hotel mattress...ugh. I’m actually glad to say we did not get the opportunity to sleep much during the trip. When we inquired at the front desk as to whether they had simply overlooked this or whether it was standard the worker at the front desk replied that she had always wondered why they didn’t have the fitted sheets too. Not very comforting to hear.

Location

My only complaint would be the location. Too far from downtown Salt Lake City.

If you’re looking for basic accomodations near the airport, with a reliable shuttle to/from airport, this is a good pick.

good days rest

I used this hotel as a place to stay for a couple days while i waited for my plane home and it was very peaceful. You can rent movies for free at the desk, and there is a workout room in which you can excersize if you have nothing else to do. The hotel was easy to find off of interstate 80 and had excellent shuttle service to the airport. The driver was very nice and answered any questions i had also he dropped me off at the gate i needed for my flight.

Comfortable

It was my first time at a Comfort Inn and I was not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a nice hotel with good sized rooms, a small fridge, and good access. Except for the small pillows and lack of an onsite store, I recommend this hotel.
