Good for a long stay
but not good for a quick stay. Although you get the kitchen and fridge, I would avoid staying here for a week or less. Due to having the kitchen you do have tenatnts that are living in the hotel on a monthly basis. Therefore, you may very well get a room that has been "lived in" rather than just a hotel room. Recommendation to the hotel: if you have a long term tenant, have the carpets cleaned after they move out and ban stereos from the rooms.

Price and Convenience
The Alberta Place Suite Hotel will not win any beauty contests, but for the traveler desiring a central location, a good size room, kitchen, and (above all) affordability - this is a good option. The hotel is right in the middle of downtown and the lack of aesthetics allow the hotel to keep prices low. Don’t get me wrong - everything you need is here (pool, exercise, laundry, cable, etc...) but it just ain’t the Ritz. I will stay there when I return to Edmonton.

Clean, cheap, spacious, good location! Loved it!
This suite was a great bargain for our family! Lots of room to stretch out in rooms and the kids had a great time in the pool! If you are accustomed to staying in the $150 a night hotels then maybe this isn’t for you. However it is a clean well run place and thy made my trip affordable and comfortable. Anytime i stay in Edmonton in the future it will be at Alberta Suites!
