Great location, not impressed, will never go back.

Great location to city center. The staff was nice but the room and condition of the hotel was unbearable. My roof leaked, the bed was like a dish plate, I could barely fit in the shower, everything was dirty, sheets stained and carpet was nasty. Enough said.

OK location, not the cleanest

So, this isn’t too far from Marble Arch so the location was pretty good and it was across the street from a good pub with some history. The room was large and the bed was comfortable, but I encountered 3 things that turned me off. The first was the bedspread. Brownish/reddish stains on the inside indicated that this hadn’t been washed recently. I quickly removed it from the bed and crumbled it up on the floor, far away from me. Next was the shower curtain. Pretty mildewy. The next day, I decided to enjoy a nice spot of tea. I looked in the water heater and the heating coil looked pretty corroted, along with the water that was in there. No thanks. Another thing that bothered me was the noise. I was woken up by a group of drunken hotel guests at 2am. Their room was directly under mine (very thin walls) and being a small-framed female on her own, didn’t want to ruffle any drunken feathers by asking them to quiet down. They didn’t fall asleep until 4:30am. At that point the pre-dawn skies and birds kept me up for another 30 minutes. Not a restful night at the Hadleigh.
