Could have been worse...
Overall, a decent place for the money. As a college student on a tight budget, this worked just fine. There is no elevator, so it was a bit of a workout to get my bags up to the fourth floor. Breakfast was brought to my room in the morning. My biggest complaint is the water here. It may have just been my room or a problem that weekend, but there was barely any pressure and it was difficult to get the hot and the cold to mix well. Also, when the water was turned on, it made a loud noise. For the 2 days I was there, I was able to shower quickly, but any longer and I would have complained. I have faith that if I had complained, it would have been fixed. The staff was very helpful.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
This hotel is close to shopping, but not much else, so take the tube if you can. To save money on the tube, buy an Oyster card. Its 3 pounds to purchase the card, but you bring it back before you leave, they will give you the 3 pounds back. Then you can put any amount on the card that you want. Each ride is 1.60 pounds, which is a lot better than the 3.50 that you would have to pay if you got a single ticket each time.

Never again in my life
The hotel is extremely dirty and uncomfortable. You simply dont feel safe there. SHARED TOILET. Shower was the dirtiest Ive ever seen and is basically a box somehow squeezed into a room. Hotel has very bad ventilation system so at night youre dying without air. Provided fan is extremely noisy so you cant sleep anyway. Breakfast is a crap. Im a student and Im not a very demanding customer but this is simply not a place for a human being to live in.
Traveler's tip
Look at the hotels starting from about 120 pounds per night if you want to live in Mayfair district cause London is expensive.
