Awful Customer Service
I made this hotel reservation four months before my stay at the Marriott. I reserved a room for 2 queen beds because I was going to have 2 couples in the room. When I came to check in, the hotel gave me a king bed room. I explained that was not going to work, and they were entirely unsympathetic and told me that I should have gotten there earlier! Wow! They said that they could offer me no solutions and didn’t even care that they screwed me over. I explained to them my situation one more time and the lady was rude and snippy, telling me she could not help me. She actually raised her voice at me and told me that I needed to move over because she needed to help other customers. The hotel brought a roll away up to the room, which still didn’t help my other couple seeing as how the bed only can fit one person. Unacceptable! The restaurant was understaffed and the servers were not attentive at all. I was very disappointed with the whole experience. The hotel has a great location near the Sears Center but it is not worth it to stay at the Marriott if you want to be at the Sears Center.
