"Good location"
Location is very convenient, In Copacabana and near Ipanema. The staff is very nice. Ask for a taxi with time, because sometimes it is not easy to have it inmediately
If yoy don`t speak portuguese, learn about names of food before traveling, because some restaurants near hotel don`t have the names in english nor spanish.

Copacabana’s Best Hotel!
This hotel really impressed me! We stayed at another Hotel during the week and it was supposed to be better and it wasn’t even close. The customer service was second to none! The free breakfast was incredibly good! If you want to stay in an affordable hotel with 5 star service, this is the one! I would like to thank everyone at the Orla Copacabana for making my stay an awesome one! The only little thing that surprised me was that there wasn’t an iron in our room, shame on me for not taking mine. They do however have laundry service. Again this is a clean and pleasurable place to stay in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! I will be back soon! Thanks again! Chow!
Go to Rio Scenarium for traditional Samba and fun times. It’s downtown Centro Rio de Janeiro. American sports and english speakers go to Shananigen’s Irish Pub, Ipanema.

Great Price on a Good Hotel on Copacabana
We stayed here in Oct 09 for a total of 6 days. It is a great location directly across the street from the end of Copacabana Beach and a 10 minute walk to Ipanema Beach. Basic accommodations with fairly small rooms, but clean and really all we needed. For the most part the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, though one of the front desk people seemed to have an attitude whenever I saw him. But that’s OK, I just ignored him and talked to someone else. Doorman was very good and could get you anything you needed. Would definitely go back. A great value for a beachfront hotel.
Low season rates apply in October. Ipenema is definitely the better beach. Not as many people trying to sell you stuff (which can be about every 30 seconds on Copacabana). But the hotels are generally more expensive in Ipenema. That’s why being at the SW end of Copacabana at this hotel works out great for convenience.
