Rodeway Inn Logan International Airport

Not Impressed

This hotel is about 2 miles from Logan International Airport. The hotel is very small, parking lot is very small and not in what I felt was a safe area. The room however was clean, the mattresses were not comfortable and were old, room was small and only had a stand up shower, flat screen TV was not a good quality as the picture was of poor quality. This hotel sits right on the highway and all you hear all night is rode noise which makes it hard to sleep. There is a shuttle to the airport if you need it however it is at there convenience of times and not the travelers. I also thought the room was priced to high for the area and not having any amenities. There is also no elevator to the second floor so you must lug your luggage up the stairs. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are only staying one night and to be close to the airport.

Must go to Boston Market area, very nice. Also go to the Cape if you have the time.

IT WAS OK FOR THE PRICE. THE PEOPLE WERE GREAT. IT WAS OLD AND THE BEDS WERE AWFUL.

Location a big minus

I chose this small chain hotel, as it was relatively low-priced and only 3 miles from Boston Logan airport (my plane was due to arrive quite late). Its pleasant inside (although the rooms are rather cosy). But beware: the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. There’s not much around, and it took me ages to get into town the next day. It also turned out that the taxi from the airport ended up costing over $15 even for that short distance. Next time, I’d probably take a hotel further away from the airport, but which has its own shuttle.

Very nice rooms

The hotel had very nice rooms. I would suggest to someone wanting to stay close to the airport. The only two things we did not care for is that you are close to a main road (Noise of Traffic) and no elevator. However, both of these things were not a big deal because the rooms were VERY plush. The staff was great as well.

Not impressed

The room is underground and too close to street and noisy.

wonderful stay

This place is terrific .... Not super lux, but as clean as possible, nice furnishings, 1/2 basement but felt above ground; staff terrific and helpful, continental breakfast, AND THE PRICE.. unbeatable.

Good last minute stop

Very close to the ’T’ and the shuttle was quite convenient too.

Noise fom other rooms kept me awake past 4am

I had a cramped, dank room with no soundproofing. The noise overhead from other rooms and the racket in the hall gave me the worst night of sleeplessness I’ve ever had in a hotel.

A reasonable hotel near Boston

Rodeway Inn Logan Internationa Airport was a great find. The price was so reasonable for very close to the Boston airport. And our room was great. Highly recommend it.

Nice folks but too small and fair location

I used this hotel for one night. Arriving late and set out driving in the morning. The room was sorta dreary and small. I was in the basement. Staff was nice enough.

Only if you need a cheap room

They will run their van to the subway line (T-stop) only in the morning and evening, and it is not really clear when they run the van. This hotel is not soundproofed and one can hear people above your room, people in the hallway, and traffic outside. Room was okay, though no information on nearby restaurants or stores. But in Boston, one sometimes cannot be choosy because so many people come in for university functions such as graduation.

Comfort -- not

It just stayed one night, so it didn’t matter too much. The room was next to a noisy road, totally overheated and there was no lobby of any sort in which I could wait for the Airport Shuttle bus.

Great time - medium hotel

The hotel was older and in a marginal neighborhood. However, it seemed to be clean and the staff were helpful. It was close the bus lines and the subway which we found to be easier to use than driving around to see the sites.

Feel cheated by the reivew score!

I chose this hotel because of the high review score which 4.5 of 5, but I was so dissapointed when I checked in. Just got a feeling that I was cheated by the high reivew score. The room is very small and the just beside the road, very noisy.

Great Value for the Money!

Very Good Price. Clean comfortable room . Excellent and friendly staff. Free shuttle service to airport. Reasonable parking at the Hotel and shuttle pick-up upon return.I wish this was available everywhere I flew out of.

terible experience

when we got at boston airport, we called to the hotel end they told us that would not have a transfer to the hotel. We got a cab end payed 20u$ to get to the hotel. When we arrived there me person that was working wasnt polite and the room had a terrible smell. That was durty. i would not recomend this hotel.

Alright place to stay...

This motel was an alright place to stay. Not much around there, but there was a free shuttle to and from the airport. About what you would expect for the price.Nothing to fancy by no means.

Quite nice for the money

A nice, no frills hotel. Easy to find and commute to and from. Quality and friendly service at the desk. I was there to get some sleep after a day of business meetings and it was perfect for that.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Better value than most of the nearby hotels. Cleam and comfortable.

Hotel is good and located in a good area

The hotel was acceptable from my view point. I might use it again if I go there. The only suggestion, that I would like to see in the hotel is the laguage service. Someone needs to be available to give costumers help in carrying their laguages.

Good for familly with childred since hotel is located in an area that is quiet, close to highway and in a residential area.
