Eurostar Zona Rosa is a great bargain.

There are many good hotel bargains in Mexico City, but this has to be one of the best. Zona Rosa is a very noisy night time neighborhood (though colorful), especially on weekends, with a lot of blaring music, but it is also a very convenient location to places like Reforma and the subway train stop at Insurgente, as well as taxis and nearby, more fashionable areas, like Condesa. It also has most of the fast food amenities like Starbucks, Wendy’s, etc., for those who need a quick fix, and 24-hour stores for items like water, soft drinks, etc. Having a suite adds much space and comfort either for those who travel as twosomes or more or even solo. The amenities are modern like an American hotel, but at a cost that is more like Motel 6. They also have hearty breakfasts and free internet access on the main floor. I would definitely return to this hotel. In general, it would help a lot to speak Spanish in getting around Mexico City.

Try it!

Am bilingual and even then had challenges with the front desk but the rooms and location are terrific! Didn’t miss a restaurant -there are 3 THREE Sanborns within 1 block of the hotel! Buen Viaje

Great for extended stay

I really enjoy this hotel. it is perfect for someone on an extended stay. What i like about it is that there is an extra living room with a small kitchen which is great if you have guests and also I there are a lot of things that can be done walking like going to a get something to eat, a bar, convenient store, etc.

Bull Dog on Friday and Saturday. Rock music with an open bar

Great Hotel - Great Service

Eurostar was a very nice hotel - we had a beautiful two room suite on 8th floor with a nice view. The breakfast was delicious and good variety. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The area was nice although Zona Rosa is not as interesting as it used to be - too many 7-11’s, KFC, BurgerKings, tacky shops - but there are nice areas close by and hotel was close to Metro and buses.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

If you can find a way to see the town of Chalmas about 2 hours from Mexico City - it has an amazing cathedral and is a very nice colonial town.

Good hotel

This hotel is well maintained. I think all the rooms are suites. The ’living room’ had a sofa bed and chair, tables, wet bar, refrigerator, mircowave oven and television. The bedroom was large, with an good bed, very large desk/table, nice closet space. Bathtub had jets. If I wanted to stay in the neighborhood I would choose this hotel again. There is a bit of street noise, but I live in a city and it wasn’t bad. The WiFi was good.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Do not let cab drivers hustle you in the airport. The fare from the airport to the Zona Rosa should be $170 pesos for the cab.

5th time at this hotel.

The 1st time I stayed at this hotel was great. As I keep on going back it seems the hotel is not as great as it used to be. The front desk clerks are not as friendly at least not with me. Love the location and the comfort of the rooms.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Go to a soccer game, either to CU (Ciudad Universitaria) or Estadio Azul or Estadio Azteca. It is a great experience. Also the clubs in Zona Rosa are great to relax and have a good time since the hotel is next door.. Enjoy your tiem in Mexico City

Creative and Nice Place to Stay

Great hotel, right downtown, one block away from Insurgentes Metro stop. Places to eat 24 hours a day, (American and Mexican) and lots of shops. Rooms are huge, well lit, and spacious, includes 2 televisions, a fridge, microwave and suite as well as bedroom. Always clean, always nice, television stations in english and spanish. Remember Zona Rosa is a very gay friendly neighborhood, if this bothers you, consider that when you head out to party at night. Beds are flat, good for some backs not others. Second visit to MX City, JUST as nice as pricier hotels that I stayed in last time, but lower price and better location!!!

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

The room key powers the electricity in the room, so you can’t leave air conditioning on while you’re gone, and your computer battery may die as well. Good to know if you’re downloading pics or video on your laptop. 24 hour FREE computer lab is a real benefit. Room is well lit, despite what other reviewers say. Staff is VERY helpful, and speaks decent english.

Great Location and Amenities for a Great Price

Excellent hotel and location centric to almost any part of town. We bought the breakfast in the package and it came to about $3. a person. It turned out to be a full buffet. This is the second time we’ve stayed here. The suites are very nice...microwave, fridge, coffee pot, separate living area with t.v. There are lots of good restaurants nearby. Our room was quiet which is always a plus in the Zona Rosa.

Will stay again in future trips

Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel and room, except the room carpet was a little stained. The daily breakfast was OK and sufficient for us. The hotel is within walking distance to the nearest Insurgentes station. Walking at night is pretty safe near the hotel.

My stay AT EuroStars Zona Rosa

Great stay. I couldn’t believe the size and style of the room for the price. The tub was big enough for a nice bath and everything was clean, modern, and comfortable. Th eonly thing I noticed was they didn’t pick up another room’s used room service dishes after a 24 hour period. But a minor criticism at most, that did not detract from my stay in the least.

The right spot

This is a lovely hotel with very helpful staff and great location. Right in Zona Rosa amid restaurants and shops where one can walk about in the evening. The hotel is clean and well kept. I would certainly go back.

Great Location, Even Better Value,

This was my first stay there. I surprised by the value. I was anticipating something less but the rooms where clean, comfortable and well appointed. Daughter loved Free WiFi. Conveniently close to Genova promenade, Passeo de la Reforma, Av. Insurgentes and the Insurgentes subway station. No problem retrieving our car or getting help with luggage as we senp a couple of nights outside the DF in the middle of our stay. I’d gladly stay there again.

no longer nice

Front desk personnel have changed for the worse, as probably has hotel management. I have stayed several times when I go to Mexico City to see friends, and they used to be nice and accomodating. Last trip they lost my reservation info and charged my card twice. They grill everyone who wants to enter, you cannot utilize your suite to have friends visit in your living room - so why have a suite? In the middle of the gay part of town they seem gay un-friendly. Previous requests met with a smile are now a lot of trouble. The attitude needs to change.

Very good location and comfortable rooms

Very comfortable rooms with a separate living room and enough space to work. Its location is great and close to many restaurants and only one block away of Reforma avenue.

Great Hotel in the Heart of Mexico City!

I have stayed at the Eurostars Zona Rosa on several occasions. I keep coming back because it is the perfect hotel in the heart of Mexico City. Location is great with numerous shops and restaurants in the area. Easy access to public transportation (subway and buses). The rooms are clean and spacious. The suite includes a comfy bed, two TV’s, small fridge and a coffee maker. The staff is kind and courteous and most of the staff spoke good English. I had a wonderful eight night stay at this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

Still good though not as good

My second stay here was not a good as the first. The business center has largely been gutted, no printers nor copiers. Really was a pain to have to go to Kinko’s to print. Otherwise, hotel is good.

Great Value in Great Location

I spent 4 nights (over two weekends) at the EuroStars Zona Rosa. It’s in the heart of Zona Rosa so there are lots of restaurants, bars, clubs etc. in walking distance. The rooms were neat, spacious and generally very well kept. It felt like a nice boutique hotel at a good price. Only complaints were that I had a faulty phone for 2 nights and the gym has only basic equipment, one of which didn’t work well. I would stay here again.

The pulse of Zona Rosa

Right in the middle of the Zona Rosa. I highly suggest this place....very nice multi-lingual staff. Room was a total relaxing environment...not much sound.

Traveler's tip on nightlife

Very Close to most of the Gay Bars in the Zona Roxa
