perfect location
We really liked the hotel, the location was directly on the Malecon, in the middle of everything. The outdoor lounge at the top of the hotel held an awesome view of the marina, not to mention the breakfast area in the morning, as well. The jacuzzi was not very warm, and the outdoor bar was closed. But later it opened, and it was a nice touch. We are divers, and had plenty of room in the standard room to lay out our gear to dry. Very nice experience.

Clean but spartan
With no advanced notice, I was able to book a room at 7 Crowns at a very reasonable price. The hotel and rooms were found to be clean, but also drab and rather utilitarian. The hotel is located however right on the waterfront near several good restaurants and the in house restaurant was good with excellent Margaritas.

Loved it !!!
Hotel staff could not do enough for us, we were upgraded to a room with an ocean view. All very clean and in nice taste.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Walking distant to resturants, music and nite life. Across the street fom a nice little beach, good for children.
