It smells musty
The service and the food were great; however, the actual rooms smelled stale and musty. The towels and linen also smelled. Although, I would return for the food I don’t think I would stay there again. The people were extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed.

Not bad
OK hotel. However, between the hotel and the chuch there is a church and from Mon - Fri there is a ceremony at 6a. For rooms facing the sea it is a problem.

Excellent service in the heart of Dar
The New Africa is centrally located in relation to the points of interest to tourists in the city center of Dar. The service is excellent, especially in the restaurant that provides a varied and tasty breakfast buffet and dinner buffets on Friday and Saturday nights.
