Great Find! Will be staying here regularly
Great hotel, the only reasons I didnt give all 5s are: The bed frame looked like something from my grandmas house, the continental breakfast is a complete joke (nothing more than a few vending machine pastries, croissants and coffee with nowhere to sit and eat anything). The other reason I didnt give a 5 is that the staff isnt exactly friendly. Just seems to be all business to them and not much for making you feel welcome. Other than that this place is great, great location, good prices, free parking and nice rooms.

Good location
The hotel was in a good location. Short walk to Fishermans Wharf, the marina, and the Fort Mason/GGB area. Also plenty of little eateries and grocers in the area. The bus stop is a short walk away, which is by far the best and easiest way to get around town. I thought the streetcars were going to be the way, but theyre expensive and dont go to many areas, the buses cover it all just pick up a map. My hotel room was nice and clean. Good bed, clean sheets. Bathroom was bigger than your typical hotel room and was clean as well. TV was kinda small and the reception wasnt too great, but I only watched it at night falling asleep and in the morning while packing my bag, so it wasnt a huge deal. The breakfast the hotel has is a joke, but I just went to a great cafe a few blocks away, so I would suggest a similar path. Traffic noise outside the hotel started getting loud early, but I had to wake up early anyways so no big deal. All in all, not a bad stay. If youre looking to stay in a safe area that is walking distance to some locations and want to keep the price down, its a great choice!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Fishermans Wharf, Alcatraz, the marina, and the Golden Gate Bridge are just a short walk away to either reach or see in the distance.

A decent value and good location
I found the staff to be very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The double beds were a little on the small side, but comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious, good for getting ready. Good location for the Presidio area and Ghiradelli area.
