Not impressed
If you compare a 4 star in USA with a 4 star in Europe you will clearly be dissapointed. Very small rooms.

Nice city hotel, very expensive breakfast
Very efficient and friendly staff, small but elegant and comfortable rooms, ridiculous breakfast prices -- had to take the kids and find cheaper alternatives, which wasn’t too hard, but inconvenient. Great place if you’re on an expense account, pricey food if you’re a tourist with a family. Staff exceptionally conscientious.

exceeded most expectations
I stayed at both the Grange Fitzrovia and the Jolly St. Ermin’s hotels on London on a recent business trip. St. Vermin’s was slightly more expensive, and about half as good as the Fitzrovia. The Fitzrovia was very quiet, clean, and had an awesome bathroom with a very large soaking tub. It also had a great breakfast buffet. I also liked the neighborhood it was in - just off a busy retail and restaurant block. The Fitzrovia was so much better that after one night at St. Vermin’s I tried to get back into the Fitzrovia, but they were booked up.
