Low Prices, low expectation
If you’re the sort of person that would rather save your budget to spend on a decent restaurant, or at the attraction then this is the hotel for you. At the time of this review, this is one of the cheapest in the area, so I really didn’t expect a lavish mansion with a king size bed; the room is only slightly bigger than the two queen bed it contain, with only enough room for you to walk, but hey, a smart traveler is only here to sleep - not to throw a party. The hotel, regrettably, will have to get penalized for cleanliness; not that it was a complete mess, but looking at the pieces of hair from god knows who (maybe the Bigfoot, humm!?) in the shower still disgust me. To sums it up, Howard Johnson Downtown is bland, average run of the mill hotel; if you got to pick between sleeping in your car or sleeping in this hotel, then I would definitely recommend this hotel as long as you are willing to part with a little cash.

Wouldn’t stay there again
Lots of noise at night. No continental breakfast as promised. Old hotel.
