It was ok
We requested 2 single beds, but the hotel only had the availability of a double for the first night. The stairway was under repair, so could only use the elevator which seemed like a safety concern. Hotel staff were very helpful for navigating the city and breakfast buffet was adequate.

pleasantly surprised
The hotel is very convenient to the metro which takes you to the center of Rome. Room was clean a little bit small for our standards no dresser. Hotel is still being renovated (inside complete)outside actively being worked on with out disturbance. Staff helpful and pleasant. Internet and telephone access down the street.I would recommend this hotel great place and great price.

Good Buy for your Money
We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is undergoing renovations so the exterior is not nice..yet..In my opinion they should finish the exterior renovation first so it would not be a turn off when you arrive. But when you enter the hotel, its a surprise. The rooms are fully renovated..Small for American standard but normal for European standard. The only problem that I can see on this renovation is that the maintenance of it. The bathroom shower’s drain is clogged and there are molds at the bottom. They never vacuum the carpet. Housekeeping should be better. What we like about this hotel is its in a neighborhood where the price of food and dining are just normal. The Metro is just around the corner.
There’s a new & hip restaurant in the neigborhood near the traffic light in the big intersection. Prices are regular. Don’t eat on restaurants just outside of the Vatican wall They will charge you with service fee and tax separately which in Europe it is included on the price on the menu. Our dinner which costs Euro 50 on normal restaurant costs Euro 125 on this tourist area..
