One of the better
.. of the Outer Banks’ motels. If you stay in the annex rooms, you’ll have a nice kitchenette, and only a very short walk to the beach. The complimentary breakfast bar is decent and well-stocked, the rooms are clean and spacious (in the annex part), and the rates are respectable. Give this establishment a try ...

an average older beach motel
It is an older motel and it looks it. If you want the beach, the water is about 100yds away over the sand dune. There is no elevator so plan on lugging your bags! The room was average size with a fairly noisy wall air conditioning unit. The bathroom was tiny! Barely enough room for the toilet and bathtub, the sink was right in the bedroom right next to the bed. Though the place was obviously older it seemed clean enough and the front desk staff was polite. Don’t expect anything close to luxury, but if all you want is a clean place to sleep on the beach it is fine.
