Good hotel
I was surprised by the added fee for breakfast when I checked out. Apparently I had paid Expedia for ’Room Only’ On the other hand, it was a good breakfast and worth the money. But the surprise, that early in the morning as I was rushing to the airport was a surprise.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Kind of nice to get away from Venice at the end of the day. A bit of reality. I was traveling alone.

Close to Venice but not secure parking
The hotel is close to downtown Venice; 15 minute bus ride. The "secure parking" is not actually secure, there is a small gate blocking the entrance but anybody can hop over. The room was a typical European hotel room.
