Nairobi Visit
Location was excellent i.e central to all amenities. However it was opposite a beer garden that was very noisy until early in the morning. The manager was very helpful and tried his best to meet our needs given the facilities that he had available. I would stay there again but would stress the need for a quiet room. It is a value for money rather than a luxury hotel.
Take care over your security on the streets at night but I experienced no problems.

not that bad
I have read very bad reviews about this hotel.. but.. it is not that bad! I have been visiting hotels all over the world.. sure nothing to compare with. this is Africa! hotel had his glory time in the 80’s I think. If you are a serious rich bussinessman don’t go to this hotel for sure! If you like some nice company in the evening You sure will not be bored in the neighbourhood! lovely bar just across the street. Comfort in the hotel is rather poor.. just good enough to get some sleep and breakfast in the morning. Security is OK, not scary.. little bit pricy, but so is the rest in Nairobi.

You get what you pay for
Not bad if you’re looking for a budget hotel with a minimum of security. But don’t expect any luxury. It is a fair price for the kind of service and quality that you get, but definitely not the hottest vacaion spot in Nairobi. Great location though, very convenient if you have something to do in downtown Nairobi.
