Great place to stay
A bit of a crazy lay out spread along the cliff side and our view of the ocean was blocked by a eucalyptus tree. However, this was still our favorite hotel that we stayed at on our honeymoon. Breakfast was great and the unblocked view from the terrace there was brilliant.

Good value for the price
Location is good, in front of a bus stop. Walk down the hillside steps to the beach. Not all rooms have sea views, some look onto the hill. Wifi doesn’t work easily and takes time to make work with the passcode and spotty reception. Also, it is only available in the lobby area, which is inconvenient. Air conditioning was loud, but otherwise worked well.

Too far from the action
While there are many nice restaurants tucked up in the hill by the hotel. If you want to get to the beach, boat tours or enjoy the nightlife of downtown... you have to endure a 15 min stair descent & climb leaving you drenched in sweat. You can take the road.. but add another 15 min to your trip and watch out for traffic! Rooms are outdated and the beds were rock hard. Parking was offsite and a pain retrieve your car.
