Great Value

This motel was a pleasant surprise! It was dirt cheap and frankly we did not expect much. But for the price it well exceeded expectations. Good clean room. Comfortable beds. Excellent check in (our only "service" experience). It is gratifying to find a quality in a good value these days.

Dump

The front desk was not polite at all. They charge $50.00 for a taxi to the airport I don’t think it was a taxi I think it was some one he know.I was told that a shutle was free to Disney they stop the free shutle the day before we got there and charged $10.00 a person. would not recommend this hotel to nobody.

You get what you pay for

The girl at the front desk was not polite at all. She was just there to collect a paycheck. The door to our room was broken at the top and got stuck everytime you tried to open it. The bathtub had a mat in it, but you could see that under the mat, there was black stuff(mold) underneath it.

We really have a good time.

Speciallly the pool we did enjoy.

hi, i payed for 3 nights and stay only 2 night and howard johnson didn’t want to return me the money i payed, i have the recipt that prove that i stayed only 2 nights.

What a bloody dump

It’s the worst place i have ever stayed. First of all my room smelled my comforters were stained with blood and the bed felt as if it had been around during the Civil War. room smelled and i was in room only 1 minute when i went to front desk to complain front desk clerk told me why i didnt tell him earlier in the day. hell i just checked in well he gave me a new room and wouldnt refund my money so proceed with caution when booking into this dump.Believe me if youd like i learned my lesson the hard way and enjoy your vacation just not here.

find a better place for your money pics look good on computer but nothing like what it’s really like and bring your own dissenfecting spray hell even bleach and sheets maybe a bed

Not impressed

major leak and/or drainage problem on enclosed walking area. Vending machine didn’t work. Staff not helpful in resolving issue about other fees.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

When we checked in, the staff was rude. The bar/grille the hotel advertises is non-existent, as it closed a year ago. I went down to the desk to ask for coffee and sugar for the room, and I was handed 2 sugar packets, and was told that was all they had. The bathroom by the pool was overflowing on to the floor and out into the hallway. I asked for late check out, and was given a half hour, after being told the night before that I could have one hour. Terrible, rude service, and the managers didn’t care a bit about the poor service.

I will go back

Comfortable for the money

We had an issue with the first room but the hotel upgraded us for no charge. It is an older hotel but very comfortable for the money.

Horrible Experience

I was treating my teen daughter to a Disney experience. We really didn’t need to leave our room for entertainment. There was a party all night outside of our door. We left the TV on all night to try to drown out the noise. The room was in great disrepair. Torn carpet, holes in the bedspread, last guests hair in the bathtub, broken toilet and yes, a live spider under my sheets! I was so glad I took my own bedding. On our last night the key quit working in our door. We were exhausted and had to go to the front desk for a new one. Please save yourself the trouble and upgrade to a respectable hotel. I wouldn’t dare to try the restaurant.On our first night we asked the travel coordinator for directions to Downtown Disney. He gave us a map and circled the WRONG directions!

Left to a different hotel..

The hotel wasnt comfortable at all, not even for the cheap price of the room. We realized that we didnt even wanted to go back to the hotel each night since the room was so smelly and the beds were horrible. We ended staying somewhere else.

Not What I expexted for a Howard Johnsons

The first night the electronic lock did not work and had to be reported to be repaired the next day. Before leaving the hotel the next day we decided we better remind them to repair the lock, They did not know anything about it... it was not reported by the night shift. The second day the toilet over flowed (not a good experience on a trip). I will say this that the man working in the dinning area was the best experience. He was friendly and made sure we had everything we wanted and needed for our morning meal. Not a disasterous stay overall but we will stay somewhere else on the next trip to the area.

Disney:The park was overcrowded, main rides we closed, mechanical problems on other rides. The Magic Kingdom was far from a Magical experience for my family. Take your family to Sea World (Great Experience) Feed the Dolphins pet a sting ray, watch Shamu jump into the air abd splash all the onlookers. My grandsons loved it.

Rooms full of Cockroaches

The rooms are full of Cockroaches walking all arround on the ceiling, walls, etc. We requested to be changed to another room and it was in the same condition. The person at the front desk told me "that is normal in FL". Next day another lady was complaining at the front desk requesting her money and leaving the hotel. When we went back home we had to put all the Luggage in the back yard to clean them before getting into the house.

Good Place to Stay for the Price/Relaxing Night’s Sleep

The rooms were clean. Hotel staff were extremely accommodating. They do charge extra per night to upgrade to the Crayola Room or the Tree House room so I tried it one night. I was booked for 3 nights. I switched back to the regular room the next 2 nights only because I only have one child and it would have been worth it only if I had more than one child. Overall a good place to stay for the price. If you’re trying to save $$, don’t upgrade. The room with 2 beds were nice and I had a very relaxing night’s sleep; and trust me, I’m a difficult sleeper. Pool and hot tub were nice and very well maintained.

Food is abundant with various varieties available. Golden Corral, Ponderosa, IHOP, Waffle House, Chili’s, Cracker Barrel; too many to name.

Pretty good for the money

This hotel was very decent and very inexpensive for being pretty close to the theme parks. We arrived after midnight, but had no problem getting into our room. There is a breakfast buffet (not included) which is not fancy, but convenient. The air conditioning worked and the beds were comfortable. There is a concierge in the lobby to sell tickets to Disney and other theme parks.

Very Kid Friendly

It was a very comfortable stay. Very attentive and well mannered staff. I would definitley recommend this hotel, Specially to families with small children it was very kid oriented and clean. If you are visiting any of the major attractions around and dont want to pay to much for your hotel this is definitley the way to go.

In the summer the bar by the pool offers free ice cream for kids every night at seven and they have a kid play area if you just want to keep them entertain for a while.

Very good value

We got a fantastic price for this hotel and it was within 15 minutes (or less if you take the toll roads) to almost every major attraction in Orlando. The room was great and so was the staff.

We enjoyed our stay

I had read the mixed reviews and was hesitant about the hotel but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have stayed there for the whole trip. We would recommend this hotel.

Would stay again.

I normally stay on property when going to disney but this was a last minute trip and we needed to go cheap. The hotel room was spacious and clean. I loved having a fridge and microwave in the room. The coffee pot was only a one cup job so we went to Walmart and bought a 10 cup pot. Need the morning coffee. The only issue we had was our key didn’t work 3 out of 4 nights. We would get 2 keys and only 1 would work until the next night and I would have to go back to the front desk to get new ones. We didn’t want to do that after a long day in the parks.

We traveled with 4 people and instead of staying at a place with two bedrooms we just got two rooms here and they put us side by side.
