Reasonably clean and neat, but not necessarily convenient
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were very good. The room was large and reasonably comfortable. Now that I know my way around Naples, I will feel more comfortable staying there in the future. It is a fairly long walk to either the train station or the Naples port.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Other than the Botanical Gardens (across the street) it was about a 15-20 minute walk to the National Museum as well as a major shopping area. The area is not not very quiet at night - and the selection of restaurants in proximity to the hotel is somewhat limited.

Convenient to airport and train station
The best thing about this hotel is its location close to the airport and train station. If you have luggage and are taking a taxi, it will save you a lot of time and hopefully a little money to be on this side of the city. Also great is the staff. They are extremely accommodating, gracious and helpful in a city that they know is not that easy for tourists to navigate. Most of the rooms face Via Foria, a very busy street. Part of our stay was in one of the front rooms, which was awfully noisy to the point that you couldnt leave the window open, and part of our stay in one of the back rooms, which was much better. If you can afford to stay in one of the back-facing suites, it is well worth the extra money. If youre a light sleeper or are not used to street noise, you might want to look into a different hotel if you are unable to get a back room. The neighborhood is authentic Naples, with lots of small neighborhood antiques and food shops. The area is a little bit dangerous at night. We were advised to keep all jewelry and valuables in our room safe. The hotel is within a decent walk of Da Michele pizzeria and parts of the city center but if you want a more relaxing vacation I would recommend staying on the Western side of town. The furnishings and breakfast were decent. Overall, I think we got what we paid for.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Try to carry exact change when taking a taxi because most taxi drivers we dealt with had no change. Some of them even tried to charge us a ridiculous flat rate from the airport, which is only a 10 minute drive away. The hotel has a taxi service that is uses that costs 12.50 euro.
