great hotel
The Church Street Inn is an excellent place to stay. It’s proximity to everything downtown is unbeatable.

Average bordering on mediocre
A great location (centre of Charleston). We stayed for a week. Comfortable stay - and good value. But rooms were in need of maintenance (stair rails falling off, chipped tiles, broken fixtures & fittings. Cleaners were through on mainstream stuff (like bathroom/toilets but left kitchen and bedroom alone. Concierge was at best disinterested and reallywasn’t helpful with suggestions of drycleaners, restaurants, shoe repair and cinemas.

I’ll be going back, location, location, location
This was a great place to stay, the room was great and the location was perfect. You parked the car and everything was in walking distance. The staff were execellent and very helpful. I plan on going back the next chance I get
