OK for the price
OK for the price. There was no shampoo and extra towels come at a charge. The room was supposed to be a no-smoking room but smelled like cigarette smoke.

Clean Hotel with Kitchen
Hotel was clean and kitchen would be nice feature if staying a long time. They don’t have any type of breakfast so be prepared.
Visit Kemah Boardwalk very nice. Galveston is only a 30-35 minute drive and you are at the beach.

Okay.
Hotel is aging, although maintained. Check-in and evening front desk service was quite distracted with other tasks before getting to me. The hotel age is obvious once in the room, though it was nice having a kitchenette with a fridge and stove. Doors are not the best insulated, though the locks work. Try to get a room more toward the back of the hotel, as there is quite a bit of freeway noise. I wouldn’t recommend trying to use extra electricity to plug in more than a phone charger. Plugging in my laptop produced a nice spark. And try to get a wake up call if you need it - the alarm clock alarm did not work in our room. Overall, it’s an affordable option for a place to stay, and easy access to highway to get around.
