Incredibly average
I hate to ride the fence but the place had a couple of nice things and a couple disappointments. The food was ok. The room layout was good. The service left something to be desired the hot tub was disgusting and non-functioning.

No maid service
Because I was the only customer for this motel, I was informed that there would be no maid service and the "breakfast included with stay" was limited to 2 pancakes or french toast (no juice, no other choices).
Comment from the hotel's management
Posted: 3-Mar-09During our "shoulder periods" we try not to limit our service offered. Guests are offered a full breakfast and often given a choice of entree, for example, Cinnamon Apple Pancakes or Stuffed French Toast with a raspberry cream cheese filling. We always make coffee and juice and have oatmeal and cold cereal available. Rooms are serviced daily and this includes making the bed, removing trash, and changing out dirty towels. Even if the maid isn’t working, we as managers perform this task. Obviously, we didn’t go far enough for this guest and will strive for better service. Thanks for the comment.

Cozy and reasonably priced
Very nice privately owned hotel with a friendly staff and clean rooms. My only concern is that the bed was a bit squeaky, but overall was a very pleasant stay for the price you pay.
