reasonable, close to Duke, but NOT IMPRESSED!

The price was very reasonable, but the room smelt stale and the bathtub was disgusting. It did have amenities such as a microwave and refrigerator, but we didn’t need them.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Great if you want a reasonable hotel.

Not impressed.

I requested a non smoking room and the room they gave me smelled like an ash tray. I had to purchase Feebreeze and spray room. When I got home, my entire clothes and suitcase smelled like cigarettes. No hand towels and only 2 bath towels were present in room. Had to go to front desk to get more. Shampoo bottle had been previously used and hair dryer was broken. Sheets, towels and blankets were threadbare and lamp shade was so encrusted with dust that if touched it would cause a cloud of dust. Shower nozzle would only let less than half of water to flow from it, causing the bathtub to fill up past my ankles. Next morning, heard complaints from other guests, one lady stayed up all night because after going to bed someone opened her door with a key card and came into room. She said that she was scared to death. There was lots of activity and noise during the night which made it very hard to sleep.

Would not go back

We reserved nonsmoking rooms, all the rooms smelled like smoke. I felt very unsafe. The police had to come by twice just the first day.

Stay away!!
