Disappointed
We booked this hotel at the last minute for a good rate. We checked into our 3 bedroom condo in July for a two night stay. The electronic keys to our condo would not open the door, back to main desk for another set of keys...still no luck. Maintenance opened the door for us. It took two more sets of failed keys and 24 hours for the hotel to replace the door lock. A real inconvenience in a place where you want to go in and out of your hotel. The compensation for this was a water bottle (nice one, though)...I did not complain loudly and tried to be patient. The room itself was warn...the bathroom door did not latch, there were towel hooks missing from walls...Ive paid much less for far nicer condos. Expedia does not tell you that you need to check in at the Torian Plum hotel lobby...and there are no signs. We will return to Steamboat, but it wont be at this hotel.

Perfect Place to Stay in Steamboat
What a beautiful condo! This property was situated above most other condos in the area which made for a fantastic view off the balcony. We had a three bedroom unit that was nicely decorated in a mountain theme, including log beds and beautiful western art. One of the bathrooms had a luxerious shower, the kitchen was fully loaded with everything we needed to cook with and it felt like home for our two night stay. I absolutely will stay there again and fully recommend it to any traveling to Steamboat Springs.

Wonderful family get-away
Very nice condo with 3 large bedrooms. Great for the family with teenagers. Hotel service was very nice and extremely helpful. Beautiful views of the Ski area, mountains, and valley. Even the coffee provided for in the kitchen was exceptional, its now my favorite brand.
Traveler's tip on dining
Have a hardy lunch at the Diner on Lincoln avenue. Very family friendly and has very friendly staff. Menu has the classic burgers and malts and ranges to the veggie wraps with goat cheese. We are a family of 4 with 2 eating machine teenagers. We ordered a lot of food; from slow roasted pork, hamburgers, chili-cheese fries, malts, cocktails for mom and dad. We couldnt believe our food bill it was half of what we expected to pay.
