Don;T waste yourmoney

I lived in Taos for 11 years and had come back to visit with friends, so I knew about the hotel and had made certain assumptions that proved to be wrong. The floor was so dirty that you had to wash your feet before getting in bed .I know Taos dirt and dust and it is a problem, however the condition of the floor said that the maid never bothered. When trying to get the front desk when the toilet stopped up and flooded I called the desk 18 minutes without response. I saw the time on the desk clock. I finally walked up to the front and the woman at the desk said she did not answer because she was on the phone. Not to mention the ripped screens on the door the broken down patio furniture and basically a overpriced for the quality hotel. There is more negative aspects of this hotel I could mention, but why bother?

Best restraunt is The Downtown Bistro. Best outdoor cafe is The Taos Inn
