Think Twice before booking here
We stayed 2 nights. On the first night we were in a tiny room/cabin with bunk queen beds, a sofa, kitchenette and table. There was hardly enough floor space for the 3 of us to walk around. The big problem was that the queen bunks were built so that there was only about 2-2.5 feet of space between the bunks and the top bunk was very close to a huge log beam in the ceiling. You couldnt sit up and read in bed. The bunk was built next to the wall, so it was hard for the person next to the wall to get in and out. The worse problem was that both my husband and I who were on the bottom bunk, slammed our heads into the upper bunk support boards while trying to turn over in the dark after falling asleep. I slammed my head very, very hard twice. I got out of bed and went to the hotel office and requested another room, which they reluctantly gave us. So, if you are a medium to tall height adult, I would not recommend a room/cabin with bunk beds. Our second room/cabin was a queen deluxe room and had two un-bunked queens and a little kitchenette and sitting room that was separate. It was roomier. The hotel is within walking distance to the town square in Jackson, which made it very convenient. The hotel is a little dated and not luxurious in any way, but quite adequate if youre not hanging out inside long.
