nice place to stay
Service at the hotel was great. We were greeted and checked in right away. It was a timeshare hotel, but we werent pressured to listen to the timeshare presentation. The room was well-equipped (liked having a full-size fridge!). The room was quiet and didnt hear any noise from the rooms next to us. Only down-side was the hotel was off the strip and made it somewhat inconvenient for us. But, if youre not into hanging out on the strip, this hotel is perfect.

Very nice hotel but beware of timeshare sell
The Wyndham Grand Desert is a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay there except for the timeshare hard sell as soon as we arrived after a long flight. We were not prepared for the sales pitch (did not realize the Wyndham was a timeshare since it was not advertised as such - although maybe in the fine print) nor were we in the mood. When we asked that the sales person to stop, she was very rude and told us to have a "nice vacation" in a very sarcastic tone. Needless to say, this was very upsetting for the first evening. However, it did not spoil our trip and we wound up enjoying our stay. If you do not like dealing with a hard sell, stay somewhere else. However, if you are staying to review the timeshare or can brush off the hard sell if you are not interested, the Wyndham is a nice place to stay.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
The hotel concierge was very good and convenient, but we found that we could save more by obtaining show tickets directly from the box office.

Good hotel but they can expand their services
I would like the room service hours to go beyond ten pm. The overall stay was great though i would recommend that you check all applicances are in worknig condition because our tub jets did not work, the maintenence guy did come fix the in a timely manner
Traveler's tip
You need to be prepared to walk when going to Las Vegas, there is a bus at the hotel that will transport you back and forth until a certain hour, after that be prepared to take a taxi or walk back to your hotel
