Will go back only as a last resort
The carpeting needs to be changed. The a/c needs to be turned on in the hallways. The smoking rooms need to be separate from non-smoking rooms. There was a strong smell of smoke in the hallways. The parking lot needs to be paved near the outer stairway for boat/trailer parking. The curtains need to be fitted better to prevent so much sunlight from entering.

Don’t Stay Here
First of all, there is no "Lakeview" - this hotel is located on a small, hard to find sidestreet/alleyway far from Lake Havasu. When we arrived there was NO parking due to many people parking their boats and trucks across parking spaces despite signs that warned their vehicles would be towed, which they never were. We had to park behind the motel near the trash bins the entire weekend. The receptionist was rude, and the hotel itself was filthy. The elevator had dirt, scraps of paper, and liquid spills on the floor that were never cleaned the entirety of our stay. Our room looked like a prison cell - cement and painted brick walls with no wall hangings or decoration of any kind. There was no furniture besides the bed itself and a desk with a small television. No soap, shampoo, or lotion was left in the room, and amenities had to be purchased at the front desk. The hot/cold water faucets were reversed - so the hot water came out when turned to cold in the tub. Our bath towels were not replaced during room cleaning, nor did we notice any house cleaning done at all. Overall this was a terrible and overpriced experience, and it’s not as if we were expecting much from a Motel 6 to begin with!
