Excellent hotel IN the old city
I don’t know why they say within 500 meters of the old city.....it is within the old city walls and maybe 500 meters from the central plaza. The hotel has a lovely pool and the overall ambiance is excellent. The parking garage under the hotel requires a small car and expertise in handling it.
Traveler's tip on dining
Inexpensive and delicious pizza/Italian food restaurant on the street to the main plaza about 100 meters from the hotel entrance. Not very touristy considering the town.
